This month at Open Studio we proudly present "VOICE5"—a culminating exhibition featuring the inaugural cohort of our recently launched Artists Fellowship.

Six months ago, five independent artists—Amril Foster, Ayana Mack, Kevin Nguyen, Naijah "Nine" Garrett, and Michael Talbot—joined our Fellowship, and quickly became a collective voice tethered by a shared journey.

"VOICE5" invites you to explore the intersection of art, identity, and social change through the eyes of these five visionary artists. Captivating themes of relationships, betrayal, cultural identity, intersectional human experiences, mythology and the story of self will enchant our gallery walls.

The exhibition is a testament to the power of creativity as a catalyst for personal growth, empowerment, and community engagement. The artwork on display transcends mere visual aesthetics—it carries the weight of individual narratives and collective aspirations.

Please join us at the opening night of "VOICE5," celebrating the process of creative expression and the boundless potential of the AFH Fellows!

Learn more about our Artists Fellowship, with the inaugural cohort kicked-off by renowned Boston Artist and AFH Co-Founder, Rob ‘ProBlak’ Gibbs, and the generous support of the Phyllis and Jerome Lyle Rappaport Foundation, in honor of Adele Fleet Bacow and Larry Bacow, with additional support from the 2021 New England Patriots Players' Social Justice Fund.
